We make heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast and heart-shaped biscuits for dinner. Lots of fun

We make heart cards for friends and for Daddy telling them what we love best about them. We have an easy dinner all together, because I hate to go to crowded restaurants with or with kids. The kids and I spend the day just relaxing, snuggling with books, and playing games. When Daddy comes home, he joins in the fun (tries to come home early). I also try to point out how things we do to show love can be obedience to God rather than just emotions, and we generally end up talking about God’s love for us as it fits into the day.

I typically make heart-shaped pancakes for my wife and two sons for breakfast. At dinner, I have made a tradition of “surprising” the family with any one of my homemade flavored cheesecakes…they are so delicious!
Some years, I will treat my wife to a relaxing dinner on the town, quiet and reflective, and later before bed, we praise the Lord for ALL of His blessings, and pray for His guidance in all that we do, every day. We share stories between my wife and me, and our sons, about how the Lord has loved us, and continues to do so, prior to bed time.

Valentines day is a favorite for me.
I have 3 boys, now 16, 18, and 20 years old, they still make home made cards for
me (which I treasure) they are each very different and write very special notes inside, they share a favorite memory and what they are looking forward to making happen in the year to come. I believe it is so important to set goals and see them happen. I is wonderful to see how God has worked in our lives over the years to help us accomplish so many things.
Time goes by so quickly, and we have to take time to reflect and give thanks.

We really do Valentines fancy. We decorated with cut out, and handmade valentines all over the house. We have a Valentines hunt, with clues left on the back sides of different Valentines. Breakfast we have red heart shaped pancakes and eggs, or put strawberries or cherries in our pancakes.
Then we make Valentines for all of us, which we exchange at lunch, we eat cupid shaped sandwiches, and pink lemonade.
The kids enjoy making butter cookies shaped like hearts, cupid and arrows.
We also make homemade chocolates.
Dinner is always special, with a dinner made by the kids, and they even clean it all up, and read us poems they have written.
We end the night with treats for our equines, a nice little walk and visit.
