Tuesday Tips — Avoid Endless Excursions

Hate to Shop? Always feeling like you need to dash off to the store? Take the advice of Roberta Mulliner, who has reduced her shopping trips to one morning or afternoon a week. On a recent trip, Roberta needed to buy groceries, return library books, deposit a check at the bank, and mail packages. She plotted her route as a loop, ending with the grocery store so that the perishables would stay fresh. Spending a few minutes planning can save you hours shopping, says Roberta.
